Frequently Asked Questions
Bibliochat is an iOS app that lets you have conversations with figures from Scripture — Moses, David, Paul, Mary, Solomon, Ruth, and more — each responding in their own voice, rooted in biblical context. It's designed to help you explore your faith through dialogue.
Bibliochat offers a free tier with limited conversations per day. Upgrading to Bibliochat Pro unlocks unlimited conversations and premium characters. Subscription pricing is shown inside the app before you purchase.
Pro gives you unlimited daily conversations, access to all available biblical characters, voice responses (powered by ElevenLabs), and priority access to new features as they launch.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple. Go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Bibliochat and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We are unable to process cancellations directly — Apple controls all subscription billing.
Because purchases are processed by Apple, refund requests must go through Apple directly at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at support@biblio.chat and we'll do our best to help.
Voice responses require an active Pro subscription and a stable internet connection. If voice isn't working:
Check that your device is not on silent mode.
Ensure Bibliochat has microphone and audio permissions in Settings → Bibliochat.
Delete and reinstall the app — your account and conversation history are stored in the cloud and will be restored when you sign back in.
If none of these work, email support@biblio.chat with your device model and iOS version.
Tap Continue with Apple on the login screen and use the same Apple ID you signed up with. If you used Hide My Email, Apple routes messages to your real address automatically. If you're locked out, contact us at support@biblio.chat.
Your conversations are stored securely via Firebase and are not sold to third parties. Conversation text is sent to the Anthropic API to generate responses. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Email support@biblio.chat with the subject "Delete My Account" and include the email address or Apple ID linked to your account. We will permanently delete all your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation. This action cannot be undone.
Bibliochat is designed for general audiences and does not contain mature content. It is rated 4+ on the App Store. Children under 13 should use the app with parental guidance. Parents with concerns can reach us at support@biblio.chat.
Bibliochat is available on iPhone and iPad running iOS 16 or later. An Android version is not available at this time.
